Gender-responsive pedagogy for Early Childhood Education

This toolkit seeks to contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals on education and gender equality, as well as the African Union Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA 16-25). VVOB and FAWE, in collaboration with the ministries of education in South Africa, Rwanda and Zambia, have developed this toolkit on gender-responsive pedagogy (GRP) to support ECE teachers and school leaders. This international toolkit can be contextualised for implementation in different African countries. It can be used as a self-read resource and by institutes and structures that undertake initial training and professional development for ECE teachers and school leaders.
